A Luzerne County jury on Friday found a 34-year-old Plymouth man guilty of leaving the scene of an accident involving serious injury.
Prosecutors said the man struck a crossing guard on Main Street in November 2024 and drove off. Surveillance video from a nearby business was central to the case.
The crossing guard, who testified Wednesday, has since returned to work.
Sentencing is set for January before Judge [sample]. Under state guidelines the charge carries a mandatory minimum of one year.
